High Protein Chickpea Avocado Burger Recipe.



Ingredients

For the Patty:

  • 2 cups Boiled/cooked Chickpea

  • 1-2 Boiled Sweet Potato

  • Chopped Olives

  • Chopped Onion

  • Chopped Green Chillies

  • Flaxseed paste (to 2 tsp of flaxseed powder, add 4 tsp of water, set aside for 20 mins).

  • Finely chopped Coriander and Parsley

  • Grated ginger & garlic

  • Coriander, Cumin and Garam Masala powder (optional)

  • Salt (as per taste)

  • 2 tsp bread crumbs

  • 1/2 tsp Olive oil

For assembling the Bun

  • Toasted burger buns

  • Few slices of Avocado

  • Sriracha Mayo (add 1 tsp of Sriracha Sauce to 3 tsp of Mayonnaise and mix well).

  • Lettuce

  • Tomato

  • Olives

  • Jalapeno

Method.

  • Grind the cooked chikpea and sweet potato using little or no water.

  • Add the remaining ingredients to this paste and mix well.

  • Shape it into the patty, and roll the patty over some bread crumbs.

  • Brown it on the tawa, using a few drops of oil.

Now assemble the burger.

  • Spread the Sriracha Mayo on the toasted bun

  • Put some Lettuce, Olives and Jalapenos

  • Place the patty

  • Top the patty, with a few slices of Tomato, Avacado, Parsley and Jalapenos.
